I rode on providence far too long, it slipped in the cracks and it was gone. I found myself without a dream. But I know down deep inside... It’s OK, it’s alright, I followed the trail of a falling star. So I’ll just keep on waiting on another silver lining. It’s OK I’ll get by, I hung on the tail of a falling star. So I’ll keep on believing that another silver line will come my way. So tell me my friend what went wrong? The crowd forgot to sing my song... Such a shame it faded in the end! But it’s alright, it’s not so bad. Greater woes have failed to beat lesser men. I see greener fields around the bend. And I know deep down inside... Expectations sailing high through the sea of a thousand dreams. Crashing hard against the ice of cruel reality. Expectations flying high out of the mist of a thousand fears. Seeking solace in the stars so far out reach.
